Royal Salute Unveils Dubai City Edition Whisky

Royal Salute Dubai City Edition

Royal Salute has unveiled a special edition whisky that celebrates the city of Dubai. Created in partnership with Dubai Duty Free, the Royal Salute Dubai City Edition launch marks the 50th anniversary of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Dubai Expo 2020.

To celebrate its release, Royal Salute is offering shoppers traveling from Dubai International Airport the chance to capture their exploration of the Royal Salute “kingdom” via a photo or GIF. The interactive experience will be live in terminal three from December 15, 2021 through January 15, 2022.

“We are delighted to see the iconic Royal Salute brand celebrating the city of Dubai in our new limited-edition pack,” said Mohit Lal, CEO of Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail. “Travelers can now engage with Royal Salute like never before and see the kingdom come to life through a digital experience. This is an exciting development for the brand, which continues to meet shopper demands for exclusive gifts and unique additions to their home collections, while providing them with immersive experiences during their journey.”

Colm McLoughlin, Dubai Duty Free CEO, added: “This pack is another testament to the strong partnership Dubai Duty Free shares with Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail.”

Royal Salute Dubai City Edition is currently available to purchase exclusively from Dubai Duty Free.

Earlier this month, Royal Salute added a new 51 Year Old whisky to its Time Series collection. The new Scotch is one of the oldest blends Royal Salute has ever made and one of its most rare, with just 101 decanters of the new expression set to be released.

In October, the brand unveiled the Couture Collection, a whisky range celebrating global fashion. The new series begins with the 21 Year Old Richard Quinn Edition, which was unveiled during London Fashion Week in September 2021, and is inspired by the designer’s unique style of reinterpreting classic flower patterns with a modern and edgy twist.
