Teeling Whiskey Adds Single Pot Still Whiskey To Wonders of Wood Series

|

Teeling has unveiled the third release in its Wonders of Wood series of bottlings, a single cask edition of its Single Pot Still whiskey. The limited edition release is the first ever Dublin distilled Single Pot Still Wonders of Wood Bottling.

Crafted using a uniquely Irish mash bill consisting of 50% malted and 50% unmalted barley, the e whiskey has been triple distilled and fully matured in Brandy PX Chestnut Casks. This Irish whiskey is full of sweet fruit notes and mellow spices.

On the nose, the whiskey offers aromas of toffee apples, butterscotch, plums, and raisins. The palate features spices, golden syrup, figs, and sultanas intermingled with cooked pears. The finish delivers a mis of fruit and spice with mint accompanying a dry finish.

Following on from the Teeling Whiskey Wonders of Wood Amburana Cask and Cherry Wood Cask, this Teeling Distillery Exclusive is very different than anything we have bottled before and definitely not Irish whiskey as you would normally know it.

Bottled at 59.7% ABV and limited to just 600 bottles, the whiskey is priced at €100. It is exclusively available from the brand’s online shop and from the Teeling Whiskey Distillery. There is free international shipping for this item.

Earlier this month, Teeling unveiled the latest release in its limited edition Vintage Reserve Collection – the Teeling 32-Year-Old Irish Single Malt. Limited to just 750 bottles, this whiskey is amongst the oldest bottlings of Irish Single Malt recently released, making it one of the world’s most exclusive Irish whiskeys.

In June, Teeling Distillery celebrated turning six years old with the release of a limited edition Irish whiskey called Birthday Batch. A vatting of Dublin Distilled Single Pot Still and Single Malt whiskey and bottled at 56.6% ABV with no chill filtration, just 600 bottles of the whiskey were made available to purchase.
