Tequila Tromba Is Coming To The United States

Tequila Tromba

Tromba Tequila is set to be available in the United States for the first time. 375 Park Avenue Spirits will act as the US importer for the agave spirits brand, beginning on February 1, 2021. Under this agreement, 375 Park Avenue Spirits and Sazerac Company’s Bond and Royal craft division will assume responsibility for all sales and operational functions and will support the brand’s marketing efforts.

“Tequila Tromba is a young brand by industry standards but despite that has been able to quickly establish strongholds in Mexico, Canada and Australia,” said Jason Schladenhauffen, president and CEO of 375 Park Avenue Spirits. “It’s that success coupled with the unique story around how this brand was first developed by the co-founders, Eric Brass and Nick Reid, that has our team incredibly excited about our first entry into the Agave category. The legendary Master Distiller, Marco Cedano, and his son Rodrigo have joined forces to form what might be the best father-son distilling tandem in our industry.  These best in class liquids they’ve been nurturing should make it easy for us to continue to build consumer adoption across what for years has been one of the fastest growing categories in our industry.”

La tromba is the name given to the intense rainstorms that rejuvenate the rugged Tequila producing highlands of central Mexico each summer. But it is much more than that. It means something big is happening – change is brewing…

When Marco Cedano, Tromba founder and Master Distiller, created what legend has it was the first batch of premium Tequila in 1988, he began on a journey to convince the world that there was much more to tequila than meets the eye. So, when three friends, Eric Brass, Nick Reid and James Sherry, sat down with him and his son Rodrigo in 2008, it was between sips of tequila that they made a pact to continue Marco’s journey to connect people to the highlands of Jalisco and the story of Tequila.

Despite having little money and many naysayers, the partners traveled bar to bar to build the groundswell for their Tequila – made with the perfect storm of Rodrigo’s youthful boldness and Marco’s weathered wisdom.

“We are thrilled to be aligned with 375 Park Avenue Spirits as their Tequila partner,” said John Eason, CEO of Tequila Tromba USA. “Their people, distribution network and strong family values make them the perfect partner for us.  We look forward to working closely with the team to grow our brand throughout the United States.”

Made from hand selected agave and meticulously crafted in small batches, every Tromba Tequila has a complexity that makes it excellent for sipping, yet a harmonious smoothness that is perfect for cocktails and mixed drinks. From the lively botanicals of the un-aged Blanco, through the nutty caramel of the Reposado, to the sophisticated honeyed finish of the Anejo, each Tromba expression is created to be uniquely memorable and versatile.

Tromba Tequila will be available from 375 Park Avenue Spirits beginning Feb. 1, 2021. Available products include Tromba Blanco, Tromba Reposado and Tromba Anejo, all in 750ml bottles with future the release of Tromba Extra Anejo, Cantina style Blanco, and a series of Ready to Drink 355ml cans of Tromba Margarita, Tromba Paloma and Tromba Soda coming soon.

Suggested retail pricing for the Blanco ranges from $35.99-$39.99, the Reposado will be between $39.99-$45.99, Anejo is from $51.99-54.99, and the Ready to Drink cans will be priced at $12.99 for a four-pack.
