The Savoy Partners With Nyetimber To Celebrate Jubilee Weekend

The Savoy Jubilee Weekend

The Savoy has partnered with English sparkling wine brand Nyetimber to celebrate Jubilee Weekend. The London hotel will mark the event by elevating what this quintessentially British hotel does best, a luxurious celebratory overnight experience, The Grandest of Stays, and a deliciously indulgent Grandest of Afternoon Teas served in a stunningly decorated setting.

London will be the epicentre of the Platinum Jubilee festivities this June, and as befits the occasion, The Savoy will be looking her best with a special installation for ‘The Grandest of Celebrations’. Both the iconic Savoy sign and the public areas will be dressed in gold, green and Royal Jubilee purple. Vine leaves symbolising English Sparkling Wine partner, Nyetimber, will intertwine with crown motifs and there will be interactive elements to surprise guests.

‘The Grandest of Celebrations’ experience ties in with Fairmont’s Grandest of Feelings campaign, which highlights how its hotels can be rooted in history, yet provide very contemporary adventures in stunning settings. The Grandest of Stays package will include a commemorative limited-edition bottle of Nyetimber, delicious treats in the room, a Great British  breakfast and valet parking for guests.

The Savoy Jubilee Weekend - Afternoon Tea

The Savoy’s Grandest of Afternoon Teas will focus on the best of British produce and dishes that connect with HRH Queen Elizabeth II in different ways from the savouries to the most refined patisserie. Guests can choose to enjoy a glass of Nyetimber English Sparkling Wine with their tea, a perfectly British pairing for this memorable moment.

What’s more, over the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend The Savoy’s musical entertainment during afternoon tea will ramp up a notch for guests. And on Sunday, 5 June, The Savoy will be welcoming the Nyetimber 1968 Routemaster Bus, where guests will be able to start their stay in style by jumping on-board and enjoying a chilled glass of English Sparkling Wine, crafted from grapes grown across Nyetimber’s 11 vineyards in West Sussex, Hampshire, and Kent.

Fairmont’s Grandest of Feelings campaign focuses on travel to meaningful destinations, with character and strong connections to the local area. The Savoy’s links with the royal family are many and the hotel’s history is intertwined with, and a reflection of, London’s history. It has welcomed HRH Queen Elizabeth II on numerous occasions during her life; from dancing as a young princess with her sister, Margaret, to the first public photograph of her with HRH Prince Philip before the couple officially announced their engagement, as well as being host to wedding anniversaries throughout their long marriage.

The Grandest of Stays at The Savoy, a Fairmont Managed Hotel, starts at £1070 per room per night, and is available for bookings over the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend. The Grandest of Afternoon Teas starts at £70 per person for the Jubilee Weekend and can be enjoyed throughout the month of June.
