Worthy Park Single Estate Reserve Jamaica Rum delivers the kind of classic elegance and complexity that is expected from high-end Rum. Authentic in profile and traditional in creation, it was the first release from Worthy Park and remains the estate’s standard-bearer.
A blend of 100% copper pot-still rums that have been aging between 6-10 years; Worthy Park Single Estate Reserve was created to showcase the unique complexity and distinctive taste that Worthy Park has to offer. It is a 100 percent single estate product that is batch distilled, aged, blended, and bottled on site.
A natural, light amber in color, Worthy Park Single Estate Reserve possesses a nose of light tobacco and toasted oak with notes of raisins, plums, and vanilla adding depth and complexity. The mouth features luscious tropical fruit flavors with a velvety, buttery texture. Soft tannins are rounded out by toasted oak and nutmeg and there is a slightly bitter, dry essence. The finish is soft and dry with hints of black pepper and a touch of ginger.
The Rum is loved worldwide, winning a number of awards at various spirits competitions. In 2019, it picked up Double Gold at the International Spirits Challenge 2019 and during the same year it grabbed Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition as well as a Bronze Medal at the German Rum Awards. Also in 2019, it won the Gold at The Spirits Business Rum and Cachaca Masters.
Nestled in the Lluidas Vale, Worthy Park Estate is surrounded by landscaped greenery that offers a glimpse into a different side of Jamaica. Located in the central parish of St. Catherine, far from the white sand beaches and palm trees, Worthy Park is a trip back in time to the days of unspoiled landscapes and natural beauty that had given rise to Jamaica being known as the “Land of wood and water”.
