Ghost Tequila has signed a national distribution agreement with Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC), immediately opening Florida, Washington, Arizona, and Michigan (in addition to the current RNDC markets of Texas, California, Louisiana, and Colorado). In 2021, Ghost will be in more than 30 U.S. states, as well as over a dozen international markets.
Ghost Tequila is a 100% agave spicy Tequila which has seen rapid success in the short four years since it first launched. In 2020, the brand posted +75% sales growth. The Tequila is made with a small amount of bhut jolokia pepper extract, which is added into the finished Tequila before bottling.
“We’re enormously proud of the phenomenal growth of this brand, thanks to the hard work and
determination of everyone on our team, and our wholesale partners. And now it’s time to turn the dial further, and for that I can’t think of a better national distributor partner than RNDC, an
organization that’s strongly committed to supporting and building the brands in their portfolio,”
said Andrew Teubner, Ghost’s Chief Operating Officer. “RNDC understands the immense potential of Ghost, and we’re excited to work together with their teams to introduce new consumers and trade in their markets to our ultra-premium spicy spirit.”
With this new distributor alignment, Ghost will continue to build out a full national sales team, and also shortly introduce two new bottle sizes, 50ml and 1.75L.
Added Chris Moran, Ghost’s CEO and co-founder, “When I created Ghost, my goal first and
foremost was to produce a high-quality, 100% agave tequila, and then make it spicy. Ghost Tequila is perfectly positioned to capitalize on the growing excitement and demand for spicy food and drink, and as we continue to aggressively march toward full U.S. distribution, our top priority is to work with like-minded partners like RNDC who share that vision and passion for spicy cocktails.”
