Jameson Reveals Month Of Virtual Events To Celebrate St Patrick’s Day 2021

Jameson St Patrick’s Day 2021 - Jessie Reyez

Jameson has revealed a month-long series of virtual events to celebrate St Patrick’s Day 2021. The series of events include a number of live-streamed gigs from headliner Jessie Reyez, Dublin rappers Denise Chalia and Kojaque, R&B artist Savannah-Re, and Canadian rapper Junia-T.

The global livestream will be available across four time zones on St Patrick’s Day through the Jameson Connects platform, where consumers can sign up for free tickets. The iconic Irish Whiskey brand will once again partner with online music platform Boiler Room by streaming sets every Wednesday in the run up to St Patrick’s Day, starting March 3.

“St Patrick’s Day is a day to celebrate all that Ireland represents – culture, music and togetherness,” said Brendan Buckley, international marketing director at Irish Distillers. “Jameson is ensuring that this year is no different as the whiskey brings its proud Irish spirit to life through a series of global virtual events and collaborations that encourage everyone to adapt an Irish state of mind and join in to safely celebrate St Patrick’s Day 2021.”

In addition, Jameson has collaborated with Brooklyn-based internet football club Nowhere FC. Together, they will create a collection of three limited edition football shirts, and accessories that symbolise the partnership. The collection is set to launch March 10 via the Jameson and Nowhere FC websites.

Finally, Jameson has launched a competition that offers one fan the chance to win a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ experience for St Patrick’s Day in 2022. To enter the contest, consumers must let the brand know where they would like to spend St Patrick’s Day next year and why.

Last month, Jameson announced that it will pay fans to take off on St Patrick’s Day, as part of its new SPTO campaign. To get the word out, the iconic Irish Whiskey brand teamed up with Retta Sirleaf (Good Girls) and Joe Lo Truglio (Brooklyn Nine-Nine). In total, Jameson will pay 1,000 people to take time off so they can celebrate the Irish holiday.
