Katy Perry has teamed up with Amass Master Distiller Morgan McLachlan to launch their own alcohol-free aperitif range, De Soi. The pop singer joins a long line of celebrities who have entered into the wine and spirits world in recent years, but is one of the biggest names to enter the non-alcoholic category, following Blake Lively, who released her own line of mixers last year.
“As creative professionals and busy moms with a shared love for a spritz, we wanted a drink that was bubbly and delicious, but that didn’t get in the way of early mornings and long nights,” explained Perry and McLachlan. “A drink that was truly fun to sip on, and still allowed us to feel present and engaged while taking the lead. A drink that married our passion for plants and better-for-you ingredients with big, bold flavor and feel-good adaptogens.”
At the time of the announcement, Perry took to Twitter: “Just in time for SOBERUARY! Excited to announce @drinkdesoi a line of sparkling nonalcoholic aperitifs I’ve created w/ my fellow new mama/ botany babe Morgan McLachlan. Our apéritifs are full of feel-good adaptogens for a drink that helps you create, relax & ease into the night.”
“They come in three fun flavors: Golden Hour with citrus & lemongrass, Champignon Dreams with strawberries & grapefruit, and Purple Lune with blackberry nectar, vanilla oak & rose petals,” she added. “Cheers to pleasure with restraint!”
A 750ml bottle of De Soi is priced at $25, while the brand is also offering a monthly subscription service.

Last January, McLachlan’s Amass launched Riverine, a refined non-alcoholic spirit that is designed to capture the lush landscape of the Pacific Northwest. In September, Amass unveiled its first cannabis-infused alcohol-free spirit, Afterdream. The new beverage contains both THC and CBD.
