Tamdhu Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky has unveiled Batch Strength 007. Bottled at 57.5% ABV, the latest addition to the award-winning series has a rich, natural copper hue as a result of full maturation in Oloroso sherry seasoned casks from the bodegas of Jerez, Spain.
On the nose, the whisky begins with a subtle waft of vanilla sponge, followed by spicy cinnamon and roasted praline. The luxurious, thick mouthfeel is complimented by a decadent pavlova filled with luscious raspberries. A drop of water unveils caramel apricots with a wave of oak spice, and a zingy lemon punch. The finish finds warm oak spices giving way to baked figs and sherry flavors, which ascend to meet the freshly peeled clementine.
